Port Shepstone Lions regularly run free Diabetes Testing Clinics at Harbourview Superspar on a Saturday morning. On any given occasion, over 100 members of the public receive free tests and those whose readings are high are provied with medical advice by Lion lady (Sister) Debbie Marshall and given pamphlets which detail how the condition can be better controlled.

The Club extends their sincere appreciation to the Management of Harbourview Superspar for always allowing the use of their venue and Lion Lady (Sister) Debbie Marshall for conducting the tests on behalf of the club.
